How to exclude pledge amounts from Fund Statements

I do not want pledges to be included in the Fund balance that shows on statements.

Answer:

Go to General Ledger > Design Statements
Choose the statement you use for Fund Statements
Click on Row Format
Scroll down to your Available to Spend line (it may be named different for your organization)
Add another line with the same Row format number as the Available to Spend line
In the formula cell add the pledge receivable account
In the Normal Balance column change the sign to Cr so that it subtracts the amount
