Steps for a staff admin to reset MFA for a DonorCentral User:

1. Go to Control Panel\Site Administration\Users

2. Find the user in question from the list

3. Click the ellipsis button next to the user's name

4. Click Reset MFA

5. Once MFA is reset, the user will be presented with the MFA enrollment options the next time the user logs in per the steps in the article below:

How to configure and use MFA with DonorCentral

  • If the user is past the 30-day skip window, user will be redirected immediately to the MFA enrollment page after resetting MFA.
  • If user is not past the 30-day skip window, then after clicking reset, user can continue working in DonorCentral, then on the next log in will be presented the MFA enrollment screen.
  • If MFA is not enabled for DonorCentral account, the MFA option will show as 'Not enabled' and will display a link to enroll. The Enroll option is provided to users who are not currently enrolled into MFA, i.e. users who either skipped MFA or “Reset” their MFA enrollment. Users can click the Enroll link to enroll in MFA which will take the user through the routine described in the article below:
