How to Restore a Full or Incremental Database Backup

You may want to test your database backup files and make sure they are good in case of emergency, or you may have lost data, or have another database issue in which you need to restore data.
This guide goes through the process of restoring backup files typically found in \npo\found\DBBackup to either your live or demo database.
Restore to demo:
Typically you would restore a database to demo for testing the restore process and files to be ready should an emergency happen. You may also want to restore an older backup to the demo database in case data was accidentally deleted in live data and you want to review the older data in demo.
This process should not be used if you simply just need to copy live data over to demo database, there is a separate process for that.
Restore to live:
This should only be done in circumstances such as major data loss, corruption or system failure.
