How to Run Reports and Export Data from a Data Grid

Data Grids

To report or export a data grid, click the gear button on the right. The screenshot below is just an example, your data grid will be named differently and can be located in any module.

You will see this window appear where you can select the function that you would like to do:

Reports:

• Select Report radial button shown above and click OK
• You will see this window appear where you will make your selections.
• After making any needed selection click Run Report

• You will see the report window open. You can click File to print or save the report:

Export:

• Select the Export radial button and then click OK.

• You will see this window open.
• In the File Name field choose a location to which to export the file.
• Leave the extension as .txt.
• Note that if you choose Excel or CSV it will not open Excel, it just exports out the file. To open an exported file in Excel, scroll down to the last section of this article.
