Imported Fund Associations not being Uploaded to DonorCentral after Fund Representative Import

Article summary

After importing funds and Fund representatives and then doing a DonorCentral upload, the fund\fund reps are not visible in DonorCentral even though the the fund associations are present on the fund and are setup correctly.

If you then go into the imported fund record in FIMS toggle into the DC column drop down in the Fund Associations tab and re-select the value that is already there and then save and then do another DonorCentral upload the funds and fund reps will show.

Steps To Duplicate:
1. Import funds using this article:
How do I import Funds?

2. Import Fund Reps and Fund associations using this article:
How can I Import Fund Representative and Fund Association records?

3. Double check and make sure that the fund and associations are present and setup correctly
4. Run a DonorCentral upload
5. Note that the funds nor the Fund advisors show in DonorCentral
6. Go back to the imported fund record
7. Go to the Fund associations tab
8. Go the DC column and re-select the value that is already showing in the drop down
9. Click Save
10 Re-run the DonorCentral upload
11. Now note that the funds and fund advisor are showing in DonorCentral.
 
 
Answer:
This occurred due to two fields not being mapped in the import which were hidden fields that have to be included in the import. When you manually add fund associations from within FIMS on the fund associations tab, these hidden fields are automatically triggered on the back end, but in the import, they need to be included.
