When marking an AP Reconciliation Cycle as closed, the following informational message occurs and there is no variance on the report. Specific data and amounts have been removed from this screenshot:
Answer:
This message occurs if someone changed a transaction that is included in the AP Reconciliation cycle between the time that the report was run and clicking Mark as Closed. This message advises the user that such changes to transactions have occurred. This message can also occur if a user changed the balance on the Account tab in AP and then saved.
The reported ending balance is the bal-amt value and the ending balance being marked as closed is the w-balance value.
Basically, the message is saying that the Reconciliation ending balance being marked as closed differs from the reported ending balance.
If this message occurs completely close out of FIMS, re-log into FIMS and re-run the reconciliation report and attempt to mark as closed again.
This issue will be addressed in FIMS 14.75.
