Inquiries Menu

This menu allows you to look up specific information from the FIMS database (for example, foundation status, relationships, and profile text search).

Refer to On-Screen Inquiries for more information.

Menu Option	Function
Lookup Fund ID	Opens the Fund Data Grid (regardless of the module you are currently using).
Foundation Status	Opens the Foundation Status window, which displays a statistical summary of all organizational activity.
Lookup Profile ID Code	Opens the Profile Data Grid (regardless of the module you are currently using).
Profile Text Search	Allows you to perform a keyword search to find a Profile.
Relationships	Allows you to view the list of Relationships for the selected Profile.
G/L YTD Account Inquiry	Provides a list of every account (along with their balances and transactions) for every Fund in the FIMS database. Refer to Running the G/L YTD Account Inquiry in the General Ledger module for more information. Note: You can also run this inquiry by pressing Alt+G on your keyboard.
G/L YTD Ledger Inquiry	Allows you to run a Year-To-Date General Ledger report. Refer to Running the G/L YTD Ledger Inquiry in the General Ledger module for more information.
Trial Balance Inquiry	Allows you to run a General Ledger Trial Balance report based on a selected period. Refer to Running the Trial Balance Inquiry in the General Ledger module for more information.
Dynamic Data Grid	Allows you to configure the View Settings for any Data Grid, in any FIMS module. Refer to Configuring View Settings for more information. Note: You can also configure View Settings for a specific Data Grid, by opening the desired Data Grid and clicking the View Settings button.
