Install FIMS Updates and Patches

The FIMS Update and Patch Install utility allows on-premises customers to install periodic updates and patches for FIMS that are released as a zip file. When NPact releases a patch or update, you will receive specific instructions for using this utility.

1. Select Tools > System Utilities> FIMS Update and Patch Install Utility.

2. In the Patch/Update File field, click Browse to locate the patch file to install. Note: Do not unzip patch files, the installer will do that during the install process.

3. Click the Install (Load Info) button.

4. You will see a compile window open. The installer will compile all needed files. You may also see other windows flash during the process. Do not click on or engage with the process windows, rather let them run on their own.

5. When the patch install is done, FIMS will close and re-open.
