When entering in a new Gift Record within the Gifts module the following error may appear after selecting the ID Code:
Invalid Donor ID Code, please retry.
Answer:
This error message appears when the profile chosen as the ID Code does not have a corresponding Donor Profile as well. To correct complete the following steps:
- Navigate to the Profiles module
- Open this particular profile record
- Go to the Donor Tab
- Click on the New button (the white piece of paper at the top left)
- Click Save
