When a gift and grant are linked, it appears that FIMS reverses the gift number grant number that are to be linked.
Steps To Duplicate:
1. From the main menu, select File Maintenance > Interfund > Link Existing Gifts/Grants.
2. The Link Existing Gifts/Grants window opens:
3. Click the down arrow to open the Unposted Grant or Unposted Gift Lookup to select Grant and Gift to be linked.
4. After selecting both, click Link.
5. On the Interfund Edit screen, Gift number and Grant number are swapped.
