Article summary

There are two fields in FIMS that determine whether the market value data is exported and what type of quarterly market value data is exported. If these fields are set to None or No there will be no Market Value data exported from FIMS. Once the FIMS data syncs with DonorCentral the Market Value tab should be automatically hidden because there is no data to populate it

Steps To Duplicate:
1. In FIMS, go to Tools\System Utilities\DonorCentral\DonorCentral Options\System
2. Scroll down to Export_Market_Values
3. Note that it is set to Export_Market_Values=No
4. Now to the option called Export_Market_Values_Type
5. Note that the value is set to Export_Market_Values_Type=<None>
6. Wait for the daily DonorCentral sync to take place from FIMS to DonorCentral
7. Note that the Market Value tab on the Fund Info page in DonorCentral still displays when it is expected that it would due to no market value data being set to export
Answer:
This was caused by old data files existing previous to the Export Market Value fields being set to No that contained market data. The solution was to delete the old data files from eadvisor\history folder. The files in question are the following:

fd_market_values.txt and fd_market_value_details.txt

FIMS does not export new information when those options are turned off however the old files still exist, and the upload sends whatever data is in the folder. Once deleted FIMS will not recreate them if the options are turned off.
