Article summary

This is a situation that may occur when running through a FIMS upgrade.  In the Procedure Editor, typing in “RUN tools\upfims.p 'compile' ” and hitting F1.  It fails to do anything.

Answer:
There should only be one fimsver.i file and that one should be located in \npo\found\FIMS.  If there is another fimsver.i file in the npo\found\fims\custom and/or npo\found\fims\custom\app folders then these will confuse the upfims.p program and cause this behavior.  Delete any fimsver.i files found (except the correct one in \npo\found\FIMS).
