Notes Tab (Grants)

The Notes tab provides a free-form text entry field that can be used for notes or comments about the Application (for example, an abstract or evaluation of the Application). The notes can be exported, along with the other Application data, to be merged as part of the summary sheet for the board (or Grants committee).

This notepad, like the others in FIMS, has standard text editing features, including search, spell check, copy, cut, and paste. Right-click anywhere in the notepad to access a menu of editing options, or click the Spell Checker button on the toolbar to check your spelling.

You can use the buttons at the bottom of this tab to Print the notepad or Search for any word or phrase within the notepad. You can also use the Lookup Fund Rep button to select any of the fund reps associated with the Fund for this Grant and add their name and Profile ID code to the notes.
