Pledge Management Toolbar
The Pledge Management Module toolbar contains four special purpose buttons.
From left to right:
Button | Function |
---|---|
Pledge/Donor Folder | Opens a Windows folder where you can store additional information about Donors and Pledges, including word processing documents, faxes, scanned documents, and images. The folder is automatically created on your system the first time you click the Pledge/Donor Folder button. NOTE: Do not create the Donor and Pledge folders on your own through Windows. Let FIMS create and name them when you click the Pledge/Donor Folder button. NOTE: The Pledge Folder is a subdirectory within the Donor’s Profile Folder. If you click the button while the Donor super tab is selected, the selected Donor’s Profile Folder opens. If you click the button while the Unposted Pledges or Pledge History super tab is selected, the Pledge Folder opens, where you can store information about the specific Pledge. |
New Pledge | Opens a new, blank Pledge entry record. Unlike the New button on the extreme left of the toolbar, this button is not context sensitive and will open a new Pledge regardless of which kind of record is being viewed. Refer to Pledge Entry for more information. |
New Donor | Opens a new, blank Donor/Prospect record. The new Donor page must be linked to an existing Profile record. Unlike the New button on the extreme left of the toolbar, this button is not context sensitive and will open a new Donor page regardless of which kind of record is being viewed. Refer to Creating a Donor Record in the Donor and Gift Management module for more information. |
New Profile | Opens a new, blank Profile record. Unlike the New button on the extreme left of the toolbar, this button is not context sensitive and will open a new Profile regardless of which kind of record is being viewed. When the new Profile is saved, a new Donor record for the Profile will automatically open. Refer to Profile Entry in the Profile Management module for more information. |
