When searching for a charity in the recommendation form on Donor Central NXT, no results appear, even though the charity has previously been used as a recipient.
Answer:
To resolve, do the following:
1. If the grantee record does not appear at all when searching, make sure the Grantee record in FIMS has the correct DonorCentral affiliation code.
The Grantee record in FIMS for the charity must be assigned the Donor Central Affiliation code so that the charity will show in the drop-down when searching for previous recipients.
3. This issue can also occur due to browser cache, try clearing cache and cookies, close browser and re-open.

- In FIMS, navigate to the Grants module.
- Click on the Grantees Supertab.
- Search for the charity that was previously used.
- Double click to open the Grantee record.
- Click on the Affiliations tab.
- Add the Donor Central affiliation code.
- NOTE: If you are unsure of the affiliation code, navigate to Tools > System Utilities > DonorCentral > Donor Central Options > Suggestions > Upload_Grantee_Affil
- Save the grantee record.
- After the next data upload, the charity will be found when searching for prior recipient on Donor Central NXT recommendation form.

Steps To Duplicate
- In DonorCentral, Create new grant recommendation.
- In section for, "select prior recipient", click on drop-down to view previous grantees.
- Grantee does not show.
- Begin typing grantee name in Select prior recipient search bar grantee does not appear in search results
