Processing Pledges

Once you have finished entering all of the information for the Pledge, you should run an error-free Edit report and post the Pledge so that it will be available to relate to subsequent Gift entries.

NOTE: You cannot apply a Gift to a Pledge until the Pledge is posted.

In addition to these required steps, you can optionally choose to export Pledge acknowledgement information for use in creating acknowledgement letters. You can also run a report to show all of the Pledges that were automatically created as the result of a payment made that qualified for a match.
