Profile Phone Number Formatting

A new admin tool for setting phone number formats allows auto format of phone numbers when entered.

1. From the main menu, the Format Phone Numbers utility can be accessed by going to Tools > System utilities > Admin Utilities > Profile Utilities > Format Phone Numbers.

2. Select a desired format and click Apply.

3. The next Information popup will tell you which fields will be affected by your change.

4. Click OK to confirm. 

After having run the tool, when you next enter just the numbers of a phone number during data entry into that a phone field, the phone number will be auto formatted. For example, if you selected (nnn)nnn-nnnn and then enter 1234567890, the phone number will auto-format to (123)456-7890.
