Rebuild Salutations

FIMS automatically builds Salutations when you save a new Profile record. However, if you change any of the information and you want to return to the default Salutation values, you can manually rebuild the Salutations.

1. In the Profile Management module, click the Salutations tab for the Profile record that has changed.

2. Click the Build Salutations button.

3. Click the Save button on the toolbar.

Note: You can also change any individual salutation line by editing that line and saving the record. Refer to Customizing Salutations for more information.

Note: FIMS provides a utility that allows you to globally rebuild a salutation line (or the Joint or Alternate Name) for all Profiles in FIMS. Keep in mind that if you make a global change, any customized Salutations will be lost. How to globally rebuild profile salutations
