Removing a Tickle from the Reminders For Today List

When you log into FIMS all of your tickles that are due on or before today’s date are automatically displayed in the Reminders for Today window.

Note: The Reminders for Today window only opens when you log into FIMS if there are tickles in the system. If the window opens, but does not display any tickles, it is possible that the view you are using is filtered to exclude that tickle. Select a different view to see the tickle.

If you want to remove a tickle from this list (for example, if you have completed a task and no longer need to be reminded), do the following:

1. In the Reminders for Today window, select the tickle that you want to remove and then click the Edit Contacts button. The Edit Contacts window opens.

2. Clear the Tickle checkbox.

Note: If you are closing the item as well as removing it from the reminder list, select the Closed checkbox.

3. Click the Save button on the toolbar and then click the Close button. The selected tickle no longer appears in the Reminders for Today list.
