Removing Security Prices

The Remove Security Prices utility allows you to remove historical pricing from a Security for a selected date range.

1. In the Gift Securities Inventory Data Grid, select the Security that you want to change, and then click the Corporate Actions tab.

2. On the Corporate Actions tab, select Remove Security Prices and then click the Run Process button. The Remove Security Prices window opens with the selected Security listed in the Security field.

NOTE: If you want to change the information for a different Security, click the Lookup button next to the Security field and select the desired Security from the Lookup list. If you select a Security that does not currently exist in inventory, a warning message will appear and you will have to select a different Security.

3. (Optional) If you want to remove the pricing history for all price revaluations that took place during the selected date range, select the Remove Price Revaluations for All Securities checkbox.

4. Enter the Date From and Through to indicate the date range that you want to remove prices for.

5. Make sure that the Remove Security Prices checkbox is selected to remove the prices.

6. (Optional) If you want to remove the average cost adjustment for the security, select the Remove Average Cost Adjustment checkbox.

7. Click OK. The Remove Security Prices report opens in the FIMS Viewer.

8. Review the report and then click Remove Pricing on the FIMS Viewer toolbar.
