Save Reports from the FIMS Viewer

Along with running exports to create data files directly, you can save reports from the FIMS Viewer to create data files. Once you save the files, you can optionally open them in Microsoft Word or Excel and modify them to create presentation-quality reports.

Tip: If the standard report allows it, send your data grid report to the Graphical Viewer instead of the screen. You will able to not only save it, but export to Microsoft Word, Excel, PDF, or other formats as well.

1. In the FIMS Viewer, select File > Save As. The Save As window opens.

2. Browse to the folder where you want to save the report file and enter the chosen name and file extension (usually .txt) for the saved report in the File name field.

3. Click Save.
