    Send Message button is missing from the PrePrint report in FIMS - when printing checks from Accounts Payable

    When printing checks, the send message button is missing. I'm not able to send emails for the check run.

    Steps To Duplicate:
    1. Go to Accounts Payable > Open Items > Processes
    2. Print check > run Process
    3. Make application selections
    4. Generate the preprint report and see the button is missing.
    Answer:
    To resolve this, do the following:
     
    1. Click "Tools" > User Preferences.
    2. Click "OK"
    3. Under the middle column (Option), scroll down and select "Use_MAPI_Always_Enabled".
    4. Under the right column (Value), select "Yes"
    5. Click OK.
    Now the Send message button should display in the check pre-print report. See also the following article on how to use this feature:
