Soft Credit Acknowledgment Export

This export is intended to facilitate the relationship between donors and their contacts / circle of influence who have some role in the donation process.  The report enables a donor to recognize and acknowledge credit to people who play indirect or indirect roles in the donation process by sending acknowledgment and thank you letters to the people who receive the soft credit. This export creates an export file to be used in creating merge letters.

The Soft Credit Acknowledgement Export is implemented similarly to the Gift Acknowledgments Export and is available from the Reports menu.  This export runs in detail or summary mode providing two levels of information for exporting.  The Detail level contains a row for each soft credit recipient and the Summary level contains a row for each gift summarizing the totals across all soft credit recipients.

As there are over a 100 different data fields in the export offering one a flexible way to construct various letters for various purposes (Thank You letter, Envelope, Label, ets.)
