    Soft credit from the auto cred menu on a donor does not appear on an unposted gift for that donor - when automatically creating soft credits

    After adding automatic soft credit information on a donor and saving, a newly created gift doesn't appear to have soft credit information on the soft credit tab. 

    Steps To Duplicate:
    1. Open the gifts module and choose the donors supertab
    2. Select the first donor from a search
    3. On the donor tab, click Auto Cred button
    4. Enter auto cred information for donor B and Save.
    5. Create a gift from this donor, entering all appropriate information.
    6. Go to the soft credit tab on the unposted gift. No information appears to be there from the auto cred that was set up on the donor.
    Answer:
    This was due to the gift in question being an interfund gift. Currently interfund gifts do not create soft credits.

    Soft credit information can be manually added to the un-posted gift.
