As of FIMS 14.10, Spell Checking has been introduced to User Defined Help.
To take advantage of this feature, click Help when running a process (or Press F2 when on a FIMS screen.)
Switch to User Notes by clicking this radio button to open a dialog where notes can be typed. Notice the Check icon at the bottom right of the dialog.
Once some text has been typed, you can click the check mark icon to start spell checking.
The Options dialog is displayed with the Check Grammar selected by default. The Check Selected Text Only will be checked only if you selected some text.
Once the desired options are selected, click Start the actual spell checking.
If any corrections are detected, a dialog will appear that will enable you to decide what corrections to apply (if any).
The dialog offers some standard spell-checking correction options that enable you to Ignore a correction instance once, Ignore All instances or Add the term to the dictionary (so it will not be detected as spelling error again). You can then elect to Change just one instance, Change All occurrences or AutoCorrect.
To close this dialog either continue clicking the actions buttons on the lower right portion of the suggestions dialog until no more corrections are available or click the Cancel button.
The Save Changes dialog is then displayed enabling you to save or dismiss the changes. Clicking No will result in clearing the entire text previously typed.
The Options button in the Spelling and Grammar dialog enables you to refine and save your spell checking preferences using a host of options as shown below:
