This error message may appear when printing checks from the Accounts Payable (AP) Module in FIMS.
Answer:
For the workstation that has the issue, you can do the follow to resolve:
1. Go to npo\found\ConfigFiles
2. Create a copy of the current 'WFOUND.PF' and name the copy for example 'WFOUND-WS.PF' (WS is for workstation). Do not re-name the WFOUND.PF, just copy it and edit the copy.
3. Edit the new 'WFOUND-WS.PF' in notepad and edit this line below like this:
-T N:\found\tempfiles #temp files directory
Basically what you are doing is using the absolute temp file path rather than the relative path.
4. Edit the FIMS shortcut on the workstation that has the issue to use the 'WFOUND-WS.PF' rather than the out of box 'WFOUND.PF'.
How to configure a FIMS shortcut; see the article below. For the purposes of this issue, you will use the 'WFOUND-WS.PF' rather than the out of box 'WFOUND.PF' for the shortcut:
