When I change/update the organization or sort name fields in the profile module, I receive a pop-up message telling me that the associated folder was either renamed or that the contents of the old folder should be copied into the new one.
Answer:
When the profile folder is first created, it is created using the name on the profile, if that name is changed, FIMS will always create a new folder, at that point you can copy the contents of the old folder into the new one and delete the old folder if you wish.

In most instances though, for example, if the Sort Name is changed on the Profile tab and if the profile folder already exists for that profile, FIMS does rename the folder and you should receive a message that the folder has changed and will list the old and new folder names.
