The Main Fund and Related Records

The Fund record identifies each component Fund. It includes informational fields, comment fields, and codes that categorize the Fund. Some codes become segments in the Fund’s General Ledger accounts, to be used for financial statement roll-ups. The Spending Policy and Administrative Fee codes link the Fund to tables which can automatically calculate these values.

Fund and Related Records

Fund Distribution: These records define the programmatic purposes of the Fund and contribute to Grant budgeting.

Fund Rep: These records link the Fund to one or more Profiles, tracking all those who are associated with the Fund.

Fund NOTE: This record is a full notepad for comments about the Fund.

Fund Summary History: These records provide detailed and annual summaries for each Fund’s Gift and Grant transactions.
