    Tools Menu

    This menu allows you to access common tools, such as the spell checker and calculator. You can also use this menu to make changes to user preferences such as colors and default modules.

     Menu Option

    Function

    Spell Checker

    Opens the FIMS spelling and grammar checking tool for text fields.

    Note: You can also access the spell checker by pressing Alt+F7 on your keyboard.

    Calculator

    Opens the standard Windows calculator.

    Note: You can also access the calculator by pressing Alt+Ctrl+C on your keyboard.

    Change User Password

    Allows you to change your FIMS password.

    User Preferences

    Allows you to change user preferences, such as colors, font size, and the default module you want to open when you launch FIMS.

    Refer to User Preferences for more information.

    Change User Login

    Allows you to log into FIMS as a different user.

    System Utilities

    Opens a sub-menu that allows you to run procedures and configure system options and the initial setup for FIMS.

    Please contact FIMS Support before running any of the programs on the System Utilities menu.

    Note: As of FIMS 12.8, many of the utilities that used to require the Run Procedure option are now available on the Admin Utilities sub-menu as menu options.
