Unposted gifts don't sync to DonorCentral with Real Time Sync - when adding gifts in FIMS

After entering a gift in FIMS, it is not visible in DonorCentral in the Gifts tab unless it is posted in FIMS first. Real Time Sync settings in Tools > System Utilities > DonorCentral > DonorCentral Options are set to Yes for RTS_Unposted_Gifts.

Steps To Duplicate:
  1. Open Gifts Module
  2. Create new gift in unposted gifts
  3. Enter any ID, amount, fund (that is in DonorCentral)
  4. Save
  5. Go to DonorCentral and log in
  6. View as fund advisor
  7. Click Gifts tab
  8. No gift appears
  9. In FIMS, Post the gift from Processes tab
  10. Once posted, go back to DonorCentral > Gifts tab
  11. Refresh browser if necessary
  12. Gift appears
  13. Confirm in FIMS > Tools > System Utilities > DonorCentral > DonorCentral Options RTS_Unposted_Gifts is set to yes
Answer:
This issue occurred because both settings for Real Time Sync were not configured correctly. To configure RTS for un-posted gifts, configure the following settings:

1. Go to Tools\System Utilities\DonorCentral\DonorCentral Options\Real Time Sync\RTS_Unposted_Gifts
2. Set the Value for On
3. Click Apply and OK
4. Go to Tools\System Utilities\DonorCentral\DonorCentral Options\System\Include_Unposted_Gifts
5. Set the Value for Yes
6. Click Apply and OK

Be sure that in Tools\System Utilities\DonorCentral\DonorCentral Database Overrides that you do not have the option set for Off set for Override Real Time Sync because that will override any of the above system settings that are in place.
