User cannot log into FIMS on Azure Cloud due to a "stuck" Connection.

Sometimes a FIMS connection will get stuck connected because for an unexpected disconnect (workstation crash or similar event). Due to this the user cannot log back into FIMS until that connection is released.
Answer:
To fix this issue, do the following below. Before doing these steps be sure that all other users are logged off of FIMS so that they can save work in FIMS that they were working on because these steps will kick out all users out of FIMS:
1. Go to the Database Maintenance tool located in the Custom menu. See the following article for details on that tool:
4. You can click Done to close and user will now be able to log into FIMS once the restart is finished.
If these steps do not resolve the issue, contact support.

2. Click the "Restart DB" button (top right)
3. A line representing it will appear at the bottom. It can take 5-10 minutes for the restart to be initiated & completed. If you click the Refresh button it will populate an Executed time.4. You can click Done to close and user will now be able to log into FIMS once the restart is finished.
