Using Date Picture Switches

NOTE: Word can automatically insert the current date into your document, in the format you want. To do this, place your cursor at the insertion point in your Word document and select Insert > Date and Time. Select the desired date and time format, and click OK. Word will automatically insert the current date and / or time, in the format you selected.

Displays the day of the week or month as a number without a leading zero for single digit days.
