In AP item entry, I receive the following message for an item:


Answer:

This issue can occur after a fund code change for an account that has a functional expense code. Basically, FIMS is telling you that it cannot find that account that is currently on the item most likely because it no longer exists after the fund code change.

Be sure that when doing a fund code change that new GL accounts are created with that expense code for the new coding on the fund.

On the item in item entry, edit the GL account and change to the new account.
