When a fund is retired a retired date is added to the fund record and all of the GL accounts are marked as inactive.
Answer:
When you retire a fund, a the retirement date is placed in the date retired field. In FIMS, this date is displayed in the record ID bar at the top of the module. It will say: Fund Retired xx/xx/xxxx fundid
There is a system view created that will also list the retired funds. Select Retired Funds on the Fund data grid. You can also print out a fund listing of the retired funds. Select on date retired and fill in an appropriate date range.
