What is the best Pledge report option to get the Pledge Outstanding balance as a particulate date - one that doesn't include any payments made since that date?
Answer:
The Aged Trial Balance w/As Of Date will provide a balance outstanding as of that date. This is the only report that backs out payments. Other pledge reports have the ability to select on a date, but not back out pledge payments made since that date.
From the Pledge Report menu run Aged Trial Balance w/As Of Date. The report is based on the As of Date you select when you run the report and thus will calculate the receivable as of that date. For example, if you are on a calendar year and enter 12-31-15, then it will give you a year-end receivable balance.
You can either run this report as a summary or detailed report. The summary displays the Fund name, Donor name and total Pledge information. The detailed report includes information about each line item in a Pledge. For more information on running this report go to FIMS Help Online > Reports > Pledge Reports > Aged Trial Balance w/As Of Date .
