What is the spreadsheet import wizard?

The spreadsheet import wizard is a tool that can be used to import several types of data. You can access the tool by doing these steps:
Note: This tool will only work for on-premises FIMS.
These are general instructions on the tool. There are separate articles for specifics on the type of import being done.
1. Go to Tools\System Utilities\Run Procedure
2. Click Browse to find the procedure gui\imports\d-ssimp.w which is located in \npo\found\FIMS\GUI\Imports or you can just type in the following as it appears below:
3. Click Ok
4. There are usage notes on the top window that can be read through, click Next to continue
5. Click browse to choose the Excel file, choose ranges to import and click Next:
6. Choose the database table into which to import data and click next:

7. Map the spreadsheet fields to the import fields and then click Next. There are specific instructions for this screen in several articles depending on what type of data you would like to import. See step #6 for those articles.
