When using the Import Record Updates Utility in FIMS, there is a drop down menu for Verify Old Value where you can choose another column.
Answer:
The Verify old Value section allows you to only update a field if it contains something specific.
To access the Import Record Updates Utility go to Tools > System Utilities > Admin Utilities > Import Record Updates
In the Import Record Updates window, click on a Verify Old Value box and select which column in the .csv file holds the values to verify against before FIMS will update that field.
