There may be some months when a pool (or part of a pool) does not earn interest due to a transfer not being completed before period end. In those cases, we can follow the steps below to change the transaction's confirm date to the next period where it will earn interest.
Answer:
- Within FIMS open the FACTS module then click on the Pools Supertab
- Locate the Pool in question within your data grid and double click on it
- Unmark the option that says 'Prevent Manual Transactions'
- Go to the Reconciliation Supertab
- Within the Transactions tab you can change the confirm date to a period where this Pool will earn interest.
