When trying to make a new ACH account for the first time, it gives an error saying "
Next key(ach_distribution.recordnum) is not available. Restarting FIMS.
Program Name: gui\system\keynum.p
Then FIMS completely restarts itself.
Answer:
If you haven't used ACH in FIMS before, it is possible that it was never initialized properly. ACH must have numbers just like gifts and grants.
To set the next number:
- Tools > System Utilities > Set Automatic Numbers
- Choose ACH Account Record Number
- On the right, enter a number 1 larger that the value in the Next ACH Account Record Number to be Used.
- If that field is blank, enter a 1.
- Click Save and then Done.
You should be able to add ACH.
