Why are my grant payments not showing up in DonorCentral?

I know my payments on these grants were this year.  Why aren't they showing up in the DonorCentral listing?

Answer:
There is a system option that determine the fiscal year associated with a grant payment.
  • Paid Fiscal Year option with a check date vs. grant date option
If the Paid Grants Fiscal Year option is set to be the grant date, then the payments will be displayed when the screen selection points to the period associated with the grant, not the actual payment. The default value is check date.

This option can be found in Tools > System Utilities > DonorCentral  > DonorCentral Options.

The payment year field in DC is used to control what is filtered on the fund summary page in DC.  It is a static value that isn’t changed so if it is not right coming out of FIMS then things won’t work right in DonorCentral.  Below is an explanation on how the payment year is set when DC data is extracted.  

Payment Year Settings:

Year for Grant Payments are based on two settings in DonorCentral Options. Voided payments are not uploaded. The default is check date for the second option. 

The second is Paid_Grants_Fiscal_Year which decides whether to use check date or grant date.
