Usually this difference is because:

- A refund was done for a fully paid grant through Grant Cancellation, but no journal entry was done to reflect the same in G/L (or the journal entry was not posted through).
- A refund/cancellation was done through Grant Cancellation, but a debit memo was not done (or not posted through).
