Edit Existing Workflows

Article Summary

A workflow can be defined for different areas of the Grant Edge (GE) system. Currently, workflow types that can be specified are Grants, Proposals and Scholarships. Workflows are used to track tasks as they relate to the different record types. They are not intended to be used to track business processes. Tasks could include the Committee Review for proposals, Final Report Received for Grants, etc.

Workflows are also used to turn Proposals and Scholarships into Grants and to update the status of these records during the approval process. Grant workflows are strictly for tracking the completion of tasks such as Receiving Final Report. A grant’s status is only updated through the financial processing of a grant in a Check Run Batch.

  1. Go to Config > Workflow > Templates to open an existing template. 
  2. Select the template and double-click to the left of the template name.
