The Open File - Security Warning pops up each time I open FIMS requiring me to confirm to run it each time. How can I stop this?
Answer:
If you receive a dialog when you start FIMS asking you "Do you want to run this file?" followed by "Name: prowin32.exe" you can do the following to stop the warning from appearing:
- Hold down the Windows key and press R.
- The run dialog should appear. Enter "Inetcpl.cpl" without quotes and click OK .
- Go to the Security tab of the Internet Properties dialog and select the Local intranet zone.
- Click the Sites button.
- Uncheck Automatically detect intranet network .
- Make sure that the three Include options are checked and click OK .
- Click OK on the Internet Properties dialog.
