After entering an email or editing an email address listed on a profile within FIMS and trying to navigate away, this error may appear.
'The e-mail address is invalid - please retry'
Answer:
This error can appear if there are unintended spaces before the email address. Delete the space before the first character of the email address then save the record.
This issue also previously occurred if there was a dash before the last period in the domain, for example, double@per.email-ma.gov
