Thank you for your feedback
WARNING: -D limit has been exceeded; automatically increasing to 150. (5410) or a similar message is received when I am posting or creating lots of entries.
Answer:
WARNING: -D limit has been exceeded; automatically increasing to xxx. (5410) is a Progress message. You can ignore it.
Restarting FIMS will typically reset the counter to 0 and you can work until the limit is reached again.
If the message becomes frequent and is very disruptive, contact FIMS Support and they can increase the -D limit in the initialization files.
Typically you don't encounter the issue unless you have been very active running many processes that create large numbers of transactions. Running many reports might also trigger this. Once again, ignoring it will not hurt anything. It is a warning message telling you it is increasing a value temporarily to handle the volume.
