I see both Tooltip and Help in the properties box. What is the difference?
Answer:
In the Properties box of a FieldMaker field you can utilize two features that are very helpful for anyone entering data into the field.
One property is called Tooltip.
One property is called Tooltip.
- The text you place in this value will be displayed when a staff person moves the mouse over a field and hovers there.
- The text will pop-up.
- A Tooltip is helpful to explain in more detail what the field is used for.
- The text you place in this value will be displayed at the bottom of the FieldMaker plus tab when the user has clicked into the field. Help text is useful to explain what to enter and may be used to give an example for the actual data entry.
- For example, "Enter code x if xyz is true . . ."
