Change User Password

The Change User Password utility allows you to change the password that you use to log into FIMS.

Passwords must follow strong guidelines that require between 12 and 20 characters and must contain:

• One upper case letter
• One lower case letter
• One number
• One special character ]()?*+.^!@#$%&-=,;:'"<>

Passwords:

• Cannot contain "NPO" or "FIMS"
• Cannot match the five previous passwords
• Cannot be the same as the User ID

1. Select Tools > System Utilities > Change User Password. The Change User Password window opens.

   

   Note: For security reasons, the password will not appear on the screen in any of these fields. the Old Password field, enter your current password.

   • In the New Password field, enter the new password that you want to use.

   • In the Confirm Password field, enter your new password again. This helps to ensure that you spelled your password correctly.

   • Click OK.
