Setting G/L as active will allow you to automatically build General Ledger accounts for new Fund records when you save them. Refer to Creating a Fund Record for more information.
1. From anywhere in FIMS, select Tools > System Utilities > System Initial Setup. The System Initial Setup window opens.
2. Click the Posting tab.
3. In the G/L System Controls section (on the bottom left-hand side of the tab), select the G/L Active checkbox.
4. Click OK.
