I am running an update script in Procedure Editor to update some data, but I get this error, "You May not Compile Programs that Update the Database in this Version (490)" Why is that happening?
Answer:
This occurs due to having a query only Progress license. In order to run scripts in Procedure Editor you will need a full Progress license. You can see what type of Progress license that you have by going to Help\About FIMS.
